Module Description:

Life skills involve learning about the habits, behaviors, interactions and decisions related to daily living and planning for the future. It is personal in nature and involves abilities based on a body of knowledge and practice that builds on personal values and beliefs. Some examples of this learning include the ability of students to:

  • Make effective personal decisions for current and future issues and challenges
  • Plan, set goals and make decisions
  • Manage stress
  • Recognize and expand personal skills

The home, school and community play important roles in contributing to the healthy personal development of students, by providing an opportunity for them to consider information and acquire, practice and demonstrate strategies for dealing with the challenges of life and living.

Objectives and Learning Outcomes:

The aim of this course is to educate participants in making informed, healthy life choices and behaviors for the well-being of their person and others.  The content of the said course are as hereunder.
