English Immersion

ESL instruction offers clear, direct, and orderly instruction to learn the English language that is envisioned to promote second language acquisition and English language expertise. It includes learning outcomes in the four language spheres: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. ESL instruction must be made-to-order to the students’ English language proficiency stages. In order to rank language needs, areas may group students of diverse ages and native language groups within the same ESL classroom.

There are various genres of models used for English Immersion. We will be particularly focusing upon the model “ELD” (English Language Development).
